MapleStory Guide

Level(MapleStory Mesos) 20-24: If you are for the poor and to the beach in pigs. Training will be slow, but endure. If you lucky, then go ahead and early killed green mushrooms, hope ever elusive dish. - A better idea is Bubblings subway line spacing in character, they put the same experience, but not for the green KSers mushrooms.

Level(Maplestory powerleveling) 25-30: Green Mushrooms, or Horned Mushrooms at ant Tunnel. The former is more profitable, the latter is quicker, although you will lose money. You also can try, but it is not recommended for use small sentry. Zombies mushroom is also a kind of choice, if you have Kumbi or better, because you can easily 2HKO them 7 and lucky. If not, persisted with the Angle of mushrooms. Boar can is a choice, if you really think that you have enough money in Maplestory to burn in the potions, wild boar moving very fast and more challenging.

Join or start a guild

Join or start a guild. To start a guild you will need a lot of money, and you’ll have to go to Orbis. If you create a guild, you become the guild master or leader. Then you may invite others, etc. You can also pick a logo of sorts, and distribute different titles to members. Membership in a guild helps you make friends, who you can then easily find and contact. Friends can help you with questions you may have or can go on quests with you. Plus, hey, it’s good to have friends. Try doing some quests, as they sometimes give you good, rare items. Even though quests often give you little experience, they are a good break from training all day long. If you’re becoming a Magician, you can do it at level 8. Go to Ellinia and travel to the very top to talk to Grendel the Really Old. He will turn you into a Magician. If you’re becoming a Thief, you can do it at level 10. Go to Kerning City and find a door with “Fusion Jazz Bar” above it. Go inside there and go down the drain in the toilet on the left. You’ll find the Dark Lord there. He will turn you into a Rogue. If you’re becoming a Warrior, you can do it at level 10. Go to Perion and go to the Shrine of Warriors which is located at the very top. Talk to “Dances with Balrog” . If you’re becoming a Bowman, you can do it at level 10. Go to Henesys and go to Mushroom Park. Then travel to the very right until you come to a house next to Game Park. Go inside and talk to Athena Pierce. She will make you a Bowman. Join a Party Quest when you get to level 10 or level 21. Go to Kerning City or Henesys in Mushroom Park and ask to join a party. If it is your first time, tell them so they can brief you and give you tips. Party questing is a great way to gain experience fast and is also very fun. You can’t Party Quest anymore after level 30 in Kerning City, in Henesys it is any level over level 10. Make your second job advancement at level 30. Each class is different in the advancement, so do some research to find out how to go about it. Find another place to train after reaching level 31. You’ll benefit from a good place to train until you reach levels 36 - 38, in the newest patch, Vers. 0.46, there is a new haunted house in the new town NLC, this is available to anyone after Halloween. Buy a ticket to Orbis from Ellinia at level 38. When you reach Orbis, They give you a good amount of experience and drop Solid Horns, which are used in the “Exchange Quest,” in which you can get 500 experience and some items for every 100 Solid Horns you acquire. Consider doing the Ludibrium Party Quest at level 35. Level 35 is very low for that Party Quest, but if you feel up to it, why not? Don’t tell the others it is your first time or you won’t get in. Simply read a guide, and complete the quest up to the 8th stage. If you feel comfortable fighting the boss and you have Magic Guard upwards of 700hp, tell your cleric. You can do the Ludibrium Party Quest until level 50. Orbis PQ is another option, and you can do it from level 51-70.If you don’t know how, tell your PQ members to brief you. Make your third job advancement after you reach level 70. Once again, each class is different, so do some research in advance. Two Curse Eye monsters. Maplestory has more than one hundred different monsters.

Each item has the potential

Don bite my head off over it, Nexon made the skill, not me. Anyway, this is where it gets REALLY interesting. Each item has the potential for 2 types of modifiers. A stimulator, and gem sockets. A stimulator will randomly affect one property on your item, but adds a 10% chance of failure to the creation process. If you have high DEX, LUK, or INT, you in luck, because you also have high hands, and this reduces the chance of a stimulator causing creation failure.Gem sockets are the most interesting part about the maker skill. (IMHO) Gem sockets allow you to take your item, and add certain gems, increasing a particular statistic on the item. The catch is, you can only socket one of each type of gem per item, and your gem sockets are limited by your maker skill level.Level 1 ?1 SocketsLevel 2 ?2 SocketsLevel 3 ?3 Sockets There is an avaiable space for a fourth socket, but no items that can currently be made can use the fourth slot.Items you can make with Maker level 1 can only use 1 slot, 2 two slots, and 3 3 slots. The gems are as follows: (Gem, Statistic, Bonus [basic, intermediate, advanced] conditions)Diamond, + Weapon Attack (1, 2, 3) Useable on Weapons only.Sapphire, + Magic Attack (1, 2, 3) Useable on Weapons only.Garnet, + Accuracy, (2, 3, 5) Opal, + Avoid, (2, 3, 5)Aquamarine, + Jump, (1, 2, 3)Amethyst, + Speed, (1, 2, 3)Topaz, + HP, (10, 20, 30)Emerald, + MP, (10, 20, 30)Black Crystal, +/- Random, (1, 2, 3) (Atk, M. Atk, Speed, or Jump)Dark Crystal, +/- Random, (2, 3, 5) (Str, Dex, Int, Luk, Accuracy, or Avoid)Power Crystal, + STR, (2, 3, 5)Dex Crystal, + DEX, (2, 3, 5)Wisdom Crystal, + INT, (2, 3, 5)Luk Crystal, + LUK, (2, 3, 5)Secret Crystal, - Level Requirement (1, 2, 3) Currently not available. So it is possible to add 6 attack to your clean weapon, (without the use of a stimulator) but you have to be ridiculously lucky.Make a weapon, socket an Advanced diamond, and an advanced Black Crystal. Hit the random crystal on attack, and your now rich. This also brings up options for chaos scrolling. You can take something such as your level 90 shoes, add a stat that isn抰 normally found on it. (example: I added an advanced amethyst to my Dark Ades shoes, I got 8 dex, 5 speed, 5 slot shoes.) If I go on to use chaos scrolls on these shoes, I could (extreme luck required) get 30 speed on these shoes. With the Secret Crystals, (once they come out, grrr nexon.) I could be using a Dragon Shinebow (lvl 110) at level 107. Awesome no?One thing to take note of, you must gather 10 ores of the gem you want, and refine them. Then use your maker skill to refine the gem into a basic gem. Refine 10 basic gems into an intermediate gem, and 10 intermediate gems into an advanced gem.You do have a small chance to refine into a higher grade gem, and I believe the percentages are something like this:1 Gem > 1 Basic 85%1 Gem > 1 Intermediate 10%1 Gem > 1 Advanced 5%10 Basic > 1 Intermediate 85%10 Basic > 9 Basic 10%10 Basic > 1 Advanced 5%10 Intermediate > 1 Advanced 90%10 Intermediate > 9 Intermediate 10%Dex, Power, Wisdom, and Luk, Dark, and Black Crystals have a different set of percentages. Somewhere along the lines of:1 Gem > 1 Basic 90%1 Gem > 1 Intermediate 9%1 Gem > 1 Advanced 1%10 Basic > 1 Intermediate 89%10 Basic > 9 Basic 10%10 Basic > 1 Advanced 1%10 Intermediate > 1 Advanced 25%10 Intermediate > 9 Intermediate 75%These percentages ARE affected by your maker skill level. The percentages I have listed are for level 3. The intermediate > advanced percentages seem to be reversed if you do not have level 3 maker skill. (I failed 8 advanced Dex crystals in a row, with maker level 2)There is also speculation that the percentages are affected by your hands stat. While this is unconfirmed, I believe it is true. Finally, refining and upgrading gems costs you a bundle:110,000 to refine a gem into basic330,000 to refine basic into intermediate550,000 to refine intermediate into advanced. If you can get advanced gems, it is SO WORTH IT. You can get some AMAZING stats on your items, without blowing money on scrolls.Whoa, Whoa, Whoa, what the heck is "Hands"?Hands is the previously useless stat that can be found in your detailed stat window. (Standard hotkey "s") Hands is calculated by adding your Dex, Int, and Luk togeter. Example: Magician with 40 Int, 8 Luk, and 4 Dex, will have a hands stat of 52.
